The Pensão Agrícola Group finds its second home in Hospedaria, a rural retreat set within a former roadside shop and tavern. From 1917 and in the decades that followed, it was an important hub for the region, still remembered by older generations as a place where people gathered and local goods were traded.
After more than 30 years of abandonment, the restoration project by Atelier RUA carefully brings the building back to life. In Hospedaria, the memory of the spaces and the legacy of its objects become the primary materials, creating distinctive interiors where time merges into a new story.

By bringing together hospitality, design, and sustainability, the group creates authentic experiences in harmony with the cultural and natural identity of each place. A pioneer in this approach to rural hospitality for over 10 years, GUPA continues to look ahead, with two new projects currently in development.
